- You need the same certificate showing you’re good at handling big ships that travel internationally.
- You should have spent at least 2 years commanding ships, or if you have a Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, then 1 year of experience is enough.
- It’s good if you’ve worked as a Surveyor in a recognized Classification Society or have 2 years’ experience as a Nautical Examiner in Australia, Singapore, or the United Kingdom.
Age limit:
1. Chief Surveyor, Nautical (MP-II DG-P&S)
- You can apply as long as you’re not older than 62 years. We’ll count your age based on the closing date for submitting applications.
2. Deputy Chief Nautical Surveyor (MP-III DG-P&S)
